What happens if a laybuy buyer defaults?

If a buyer misses a scheduled payment, you're notified immediately. After a grace period (configurable), the laybuy is cancelled, the deposit is handled per your policy, and the item is automatically released back to active listing. The consignor is notified throughout.

Can I set different commission rates for luxury vs. standard items?

Yes. TurnGoods supports per-consignor and per-item split customisation. A Hermès Birkin at 70/30 and a Zara blazer at 50/50 can coexist. The consignor portal shows each item's agreed split.

Do you support luxury marketplaces like Vestiaire Collective or The RealReal?

Currently TurnGoods lists to eBay Australia, Whatnot, Shopify, Depop, and Etsy. Vestiaire Collective and The RealReal operate on consignment models (they buy from you), so they're not cross-listing targets. eBay AU is the primary marketplace for luxury resale in Australia.

How do I handle insurance for high-value items?

TurnGoods tracks item values and you can tag items above your insurance threshold. While we don't provide insurance directly, the platform gives you clear visibility into which items need coverage and their current status (in-store, in-transit for authentication, sold).
