Keep authentication evidence clear and traceable.
Authentication and inventory tracking play different roles in a luxury resale workflow.
Record what was checked
Keep the provider’s name, report reference, date, covered item details and result. Retain condition photographs and the scope or exclusions in the report. If the item or its condition changes, assess whether the existing evidence still applies.
Describe the result accurately
Do not extend a provider’s statement beyond what it covers. Avoid unsupported guarantees about brands, accuracy, timing or resale value. Buyers should be able to understand which independent service supplied the evidence.
TurnGoods and third-party providers
Tracking an authentication reference is not the same as having a direct Entrupy integration, supplying an authentication service or holding a provider partnership. Ask us to confirm the current workflow before relying on it for your store.
Make the record useful after sale
Link the evidence to the inventory ID and actual listing. Preserve a copy of the buyer-facing description and transaction details so returns or disputes can be reviewed against what was offered.
