A reusable listing draft, an export file and a live marketplace listing are different steps. A good workflow makes each status visible.
Keep one item record
Use a stable item ID, condition notes, photographs and quantity as the starting point. Adapt titles, categories and required fields for each destination. Review the buyer-facing result before publication.
Ask what “supported” means
- Draft: content prepared for review.
- Export: a file to import or copy into a marketplace.
- Publishing: an authorised account action that creates a listing.
- Reconciliation: checking sales, quantity changes and removals afterwards.
Support for one step does not establish the others.
Avoid double-selling
Track where an item is live and confirm removal or quantity updates after a sale. A delayed sync or failed removal needs an exception queue and a person responsible for checking it.
